Carolynne Doucette, BPhEd

Owner, Certified Bowen Practitioner

Carolynne first entered the health field as a fitness trainer in 1984, after completing a university degree in physical education with a minor in Kineseology.

Also having a strong interest in the arts, she later studied and worked in graphic design for a number of years. During this time, Carolynne’s health deteriorated with the onset of pain issues, chronic fatigue and other problems. In an effort to get relief and resolution from her symptoms, she had numerous treatments from many alternative health modalities including physio therapy, chiropractic, osteopathy and acupuncture. Although many of the therapies provided some relief or helped to some degree, it was Bowenwork than resulted in the most noticeable improvements.

Inspired by how much Bowen can help with so many different health conditions, Carolynne trained and got certified as a Bowenwork practitioner. Over the past five years, she has also become certified in the advanced levels of Bowen Therapy, which has enabled her to use additional specialized procedures with her clients. Presently, she has a full time Bowen practice where she addresses a myriad of health issues for clients of all ages & health conditions.
