b) You have been travelling out-of-Canada in the past 14 days.
Screening
A COVID-19 screening questionnaire will be sent to you by email or given over the phone, when you book.
- It must be returned no later than 24-hours before your session. If you have answered “yes” to any of the COVID-19 questions in the questionnaire, we ask that you defer your appointment.
- Entering the office on the day of the session, you will again be required to complete the COVID-19 screening questionnaire. You temperature will also be taken with a touch free thermometer. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment.
Day of Session
The safety of both clients and practitioners is important to us. Here are the safety and sanitary standards we have adopted at our clinic based on the recommendations from the Public Health Unit and the Bowenwork Association:
- Masks MUST be worn the entire time within the office and cover your nose, mouth and chin. (Cloth masks are acceptable.) When you enter the office, clean your hands with the provided hand sanitizer. We ask that you leave the office with your mask on and use the hand sanitizer before exiting the clinic. Practitioners will be wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). See below for links to “Wearing Masks Correctly ” and “Washing Hands”.
- The waiting room will not be available. If you need someone to bring you to your session, please arrange to have them leave after dropping you off and pick you up at the end of the session.
Disinfecting
To further ensure your safety, we are sanitizing regularly each work day, with Health Canada approved disinfectants. This includes high traffic and often touched areas. As well, we are sanitizing the treatment rooms before and after each Bowen session.
VIRTUAL CARE
While our office is closed, we are still able to offer you services developed through Virtual Care. This allow you to connect with our Bowen practitioners one-on-one from the comfort of your home, through video conferencing or telephone. The process is very easy and we will guide you through this simple process as needed.
What you need
We are able to work with you solely by telephone, although it is preferable to use video, in order for us to see you. To communicate through video, you will need a device such as a computer, Smartphone (Android or Iphone), Ipad or Tablet that has a camera and is connected to the internet.
How it works
We are using Zoom which is a very user-friendly application. Before your session, we will send you an email link, along with simple instructions. At the appointment time, simply click on the link to connect with us and follow the directions that show up on your screen.
